Despite bans on using language, traditions, land displacement, and genocide, First Nations communities are still here and committed to leaving the world a better place. A small portion from each Tapely session is donated to SNIWWOC - a Xwsepsum (Esquimalt) and Songhees nations (Victoria, Canada) based organisation that provides support & advocacy for BIPOC, immigrant and refugee women. You can support them by volunteering time, donating money or following and sharing content.
